The Ohio State basketball team is starting to show that it’s turning the corner and becoming one of the top basketball teams in the Big Ten. Yesterday, Je’Kel Foster scored 25 points and was 7 of 8 from 3-point land as OSU defeated Minnesota 67-53. Terence Dials added 15 points and 9 rebounds. Coach Thad Matta has this program on the right track a year earlier than expected. The 2006 class (Thad Five) could be the best ever for OSU. I’m starting to get excited about OSU basketball for the first time in years.
This Thursday, the Buckeyes travel to Michigan to play a nationally televised game on ESPN. This will be another opportunity for Coach Matta to win a road game, which are critical if OSU has any chance to win the Big Ten title.
