 With Benjamin Watson, the Browns now have another tight end with good hands to go along with Evan Moore who came on strong last season. Even Robert Royal made a good catch! He was terrible last season, but you have to wonder how much he was affected by two sub-par quarterbacks. Royal is a good blocker, so I think he still has a chance to hang on a keep a roster spot, particularly if he starts catching the ball. Have the Browns found a tight end? 
Nobody expected the Browns to beat the Chargers, but at least the offense played reasonably well. Brady Quinn had another nice game, and the Browns may have found a tight end. The Browns recently signed Evan Moore to the practice squad and then activated him this week. Moore responded with 6 catches for 80 yards. He’s a big guy and it looks like he has great hands. If he can stop getting injured, he may have finally found a home in the NFL and the Browns might finally have a decent player at that position. Photo from fOTOGLIF |
