Ben Watson has hands!

With Benjamin Watson, the Browns now have another tight end with good hands to go along with Evan Moore who came on strong last season.

Even Robert Royal made a good catch! He was terrible last season, but you have to wonder how much he was affected by two sub-par quarterbacks. Royal is a good blocker, so I think he still has a chance to hang on a keep a roster spot, particularly if he starts catching the ball.

Have the Browns found a tight end?

Nobody expected the Browns to beat the Chargers, but at least the offense played reasonably well. Brady Quinn had another nice game, and the Browns may have found a tight end. The Browns recently signed Evan Moore to the practice squad and then activated him this week. Moore responded with 6 catches for 80 yards. He’s a big guy and it looks like he has great hands. If he can stop getting injured, he may have finally found a home in the NFL and the Browns might finally have a decent player at that position.
