A lesson in how blogging works when the Indians lose

It really is difficult to bring yourself to write something about the Indians when they lose like they did last night, by one run, with 2 guys on base, one out, and end the game by hitting into a double play. Very difficult to get yourself to blog about that. Very difficult.

That said……NO BAD THOUGHTS!!! I am not gonna get into second guessing whether Belliard should have bunted, or pinch hit for the guy, or this or that………..NONE OF THAT! I have to agree with Kenny Roda on this…Positive Mental Attitude. PMA, baby!!!!

Don’t worry…if we fail to make the playoffs, there will be ample time to moan and gnash our teeth about curses and Cleveland woe. BUT NOT YET!!!!

Demons raised

How quickly the Tribe goes from chosen team to cursed

Black cats, broken mirrors and baseballs lost in the sun fall into the same general category for those expecting something to go amiss for the Indians in the final week of the season.

When Grady dropped that ball, and then failed to pick it up fast enough, every demon of Cleveland sports seemed to be raised from the dead in one instant. I am officially spooked.

KC beatdown for #92

Tribe thumped ’em again tonight. Would have been 11-1 had Sauerbeck not walked 4 people in 2/3 of an inning in the 8th. He looked like he’d never thrown a pitch before in his life. Sad that Hafner’s HR streak ended, but hey, I’ll take it.

And if you’d told me the Indians were gonna win 92 games this year back in April, I’d have laughed in your face.
