I love Anderson Verajao. Love ‘im. But when he comes back from injury, can someone please tell me where he’s going to fit into this team? Donyell Marshall and Luke Jackson seem to have taken up the slack admirably, and it’s really gonna be hard for Verejao to get onto the floor with those guys playing like they’re playing.

How scary? How about Lebron James plays only 26 minutes, scores only 16 points, and the Cavs win by 19 points over the Grizzlies at home. Wow.
Folks, that was another clinical dismantling of a team, except this was a good team that got dismantled. They sniffed that the Grizzlies were tired, had just lost a tough one in Boston, and they pounced. Larry Hughes is starting to show up as the Hughes we thought we signed. And can enough ever be said about Donyell Marshall? 25 minutes, 12 points, 6 rebounds, off the bench.
ESPN has a nice picture of the enormous Lebron banner downtown. Can you imagine if that was you?
As of Thursday afternoon, James had still not seen the giant billboard. “Where’s it at?” he said, peering through a window outside the club’s practice court. “I’m going to drive over and take a look at it. I heard it’s pretty big.”
Yeah. Pretty big.
This is a crucial test, and will reveal a lot about the Cavs. When the Grizzlies beat them last week, they looked flat, played average to terrible defense, and despite leading by as much as 9 points in the 3rd quarter, they lost convincingly. If the Cavs can turn that around and unveil that machine-like dominance which was featured in all 3 of their victories, that will be a very good sign.
I took a ride downtown today for the sole purpose of having a look at the humungous banner of Lebron James across the street from the Q. Incredible. It’s a work of art. Well worth the effort. Might be the coolest piece of advertising I’ve ever seen in Cleveland. Go check it out.
