James rests but Cavs don’t!!!!

Lebron James scored 30 points in three quarters as the Cleveland Cavaliers finished the game with James on the bench. Zydrunas Ilgauskas finished with 19 points, Donyell Marshall had 14 and Drew Gooden had 12 rebounds as Cleveland buried the Charlotte Bobcats 103 -91.
The Cavaliers are finally starting to realize that if this team would like to go deep into the playoffs, it will only occur by not standing around and watching one of the best NBA players perform. The supporting cast excluding Damon Jones (insert trade here) is finally starting to step up to the plate. Eric Snow, an average starting point guard, continues to excel on the defensive end, which overshadows his inability to make a jump shot. Gooden and Anderson Varejao are a strong duo on the boards and Marshall’s outside jumper is coming back to life. The return of Larry Hughes should put Cleveland in a very good position to put a strong hold on the fourth playoff spot.

LeBron drops 51…and the Cavs win!

Normally when LeBron has a game like this (51 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists), the Cavaliers lose. Not so Saturday night, though, as the Cavs thumped the Jazz 108-90 and in the process salvaged the final game of their six-game West Coast swing.

At 21-17, the Cavaliers are now fourth in the East, behind the Pistons, Nets and Heat, but the Bucks, Pacers and Sixers are right behind them. Of course, it’s too early to start worrying about playoff seeding yet, but it’s encouraging to note that, even though they’ve been struggling horrendously, the Cavs are still right in the middle of the Eastern Conference. Start playing good ball again and there’s no reason they can’t overtake Miami (23-17) and New Jersey (22-16).

LeBron’s mom rowdy and drunk

This isn’t good pub at all:

The mother of Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James has been arrested for driving while intoxicated, disorderly conduct and other charges, police said.

The officers said James smelled of alcohol and she appeared to be disoriented, Edwards said. She struggled with police as they attempted to put handcuffs on her. They put her in the back seat of the housing authority car and she kicked out a window, Edwards said. James was taken to a police station, where she refused to take breath or sobriety tests, Edwards said.

Kicked out a window? Yikes.
