Pluto – start Frye

Terry Pluto comes around

Why should the Browns switch to Frye for this week’s game against the Tennessee Titans? Because it gives some hope and meaning to a season that is quickly running out of optimism. It gives Frye a chance to learn what it means to be a starter in the NFL, and Dilfer (a true team guy) can be a real asset to him. It gives the front office a real chance to evaluate him.

There are a million reasons to switch to Frye. There are none to keep starting Dilfer.

Leinart or Frye?

It occurred to me that another good reason to start Charlie Frye the rest of the season is to see whether or not the Browns should take Matt Leinart in next year’s draft….goin’ out on a limb and assuming the Browns are gonna be in contention for that first pick. How good would Reggie Bush look in a Browns uniform?

Dilfer just guessing

Why is this man a starting QB in the NFL?

“It just got knocked out from behind me,” he said. “I was trying to step over a guy and get up to the line of scrimmage as much as I could. I’ve never fumbled a lot in my career, and this year I’ve had a couple knocked loose, so I need to grip that thing a lot tighter in there, I guess.”

Why?
