The Cavs lead 99-71 with 8.49 to play as of this post. Lebron just thundered another dunk. Listening to it with Joe Tait, who is the best radio play by play guy I’ve ever heard. I think it’s safe to say this game is over.
Once again, the Cavs simply dismantled a lesser team. And the Sonics aren’t really that much of a lesser team…at least, they didn’t used to be.

The Browns appear to be heading to a 5-11 or 6-10 season. At some point, they will give Charlie Frye some playing time, and he can be expected to have some growing pains.
I’m still not convinced we’re gonna see Frye all that much this year. Like I said, if we get to 5 wins, there’s no reason for the Browns to test whether or not Frye is the QB in light of a potential top pick of Leinart. Why play him at all?
Anybody know whether or not we should worry about this game? They’ve given up 99 points a game so far, 1-2. Ray Allen always torches us.
James sat out the first 4:49 of the fourth quarter, a stretch in which a 74-64 lead was upped to 85-69….James, who led the NBA with 42.4 minutes a game last season, is averaging 36.8 through four games – 37th in the league. As a rookie two years ago, James averaged 39.4 – 10th in the NBA. Trimming some minutes has not affected James’ scoring. He’s averaging a career-high 28.5 points a game, the NBA’s sixth best.
So he sits, the team increases its lead. He plays less minutes, he scores more points. Yeah…Wade’s the better player. Sure.
I really like the rhythm of an NBA season. It’s not a game every day like baseball (which puts a little more stress on us sports bloggers), but it isn’t once a week like the NFL, which doesn’t quite fill the demand. It’s about 3 games a week, for 6 months. I like that rhythm. Another game tonight, at home against Seattle. Haven’t decided where I’m gonna watch this one yet.
