More Browns-Steelers stuff

Nice Frye-Rothlisberger story.

The Browns-Steelers rivalry has had its share of streaks and droughts for both franchises over 55 years. But not since the years of Brian Sipe and Terry Bradshaw in the late 1970s-early 1980s have both franchises fielded a so-called franchise quarterback at the same time.

These two guys are gonna be around a long time, I reckon.

A Browns-Steelers game worthy of the rivalry

Pay close attention folks. This is the rebirth of the Cleveland-Pittsburgh rivalry on Sunday. Frye vs. Rothlisberger. Cold weather. Pittsburgh fighting for the playoffs. Browns finally having found a little hope. It has been a while since this game has meant anything beyond a win or a loss, and Sunday’s game is gonna start rebuilding the Browns-Steelers mystique for the long term, if only in the fact that we’ve got two rival QB’s, at the start of their hopefully long careers, both from Ohio.

Tough run ahead

A win is important tonight, because going forward, the Cavs next face Chicago on the road, the Pacers at home, the Bulls again at home, the Nets on the road, and then the Pistons at home. That’s a tough stretch. Cavs need to beat Utah to go into those games with some momentum.
