Buckeye hoops start 2-0

The Ohio State Basketball team isnít taking long to make a statement. The young Buckeye team defeated a very experienced Loyola-Chicago team 87-75 and is 2-0 on the season. Ohio State was lead by Ron Lewis, who scored the first 7 points of each half, and ended up with 27 points for the game.

Coach Thad Matta was happy with the 2-0 start, but quickly pointed out that the Buckeyes were a long way from where they needed to be. Tonight, in the championship game, the Bucks will take on Kent State, a fellow neighbor from northern Ohio.
