Cavs continue to roll

Posted on Friday 17 November 2006

The Cleveland Cavaliers coasted to a 92-76 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight. LeBron James scored 37 points and grabbed 9 boards to lead the Cavs, while Zydrunas Ilgauskas pitched in with 14. The Cavalier took control of the game in the fourth quarter and never looked back.

The Cavs were playing their first game without Larry Hughes, who suffered a sprained right ankle last Wednesday. Many of the top NBA teams are starting slow this season; the Cavaliers are not one of them. Cleveland has won their fifth straight game and is off to a 7-2 start.

Sad news - Bo Schembechler dies

Posted on Friday 17 November 2006

WKYZ in Detroit is reporting that Bo Schembechler has died.

It’s sad that Bo didn’t make it to see tomorrow’s great matchup between Ohio State and Michigan. The rivalry between Bo Schembechler and Woody Hayes helped to define the greatest rivalry in college sports. He was a class act.
