A win tonight would be huge

Shaq? Wade? Pat Riley? If the Cavs win tonight, it will be a defining win for the team this year. Might get the season back in high gear.

All receivers drop balls

And other assorted wisdom from Antonio Bryant.

Bryant said it’s easier to criticize him for his mistakes than it is to praise his contributions. “When you make a big play, it’s easy to say, ‘Look at the pass by this guy, and look at the block by this guy,’ ” Bryant said. “When you make a drop, everyone says, ‘Well, he just dropped the ball.’ No one says, ‘It wasn’t catchable’ or, ‘The defender made a great play.’ “

Every ball I’ve seen Antonio drop this year was catchable, and had no defender making a great play. I think that’s the definition of a “drop”. That’s why they call it a drop. You dropped it.

Elarton gone

Next is Millwood. Howry’s already gone. They were right when they said the Tribe’s 2005 pitching was probably the best we’d ever see in our lifetimes. I can’t imagine we have the same kind of pitching next year. That means the hitting is going to have to come up. A lot.
