Yes, the Browns were victorious on Sunday, 20-13 over the Jets, but was it really because of the offense and the way they executed the play calls […]

Browns lose Carthon, gain a win

The Browns survived a last-minute Jets comeback and held on for a 20-13 win, their second of the season. Throughout the week, players said the team was going to put a stronger emphasis on the running game now that Jeff Davidson is the OC. Droughns carried the ball 33 times for 125 yards […]

Can Crennel salvage the season?

After all the news reports that detailed how Maurice Carthon was unable to work well with players and with other coaches like Jeff Davidson, there is some reason for optimism that a competent coach like Davidson could make something positive happen with the offense. The week prior to the Carolina Panthers game, Braylon Edwards talked of his days at U of M and how he continually beat Ohio State’s Chris Gamble. Kellen Winslow confidently stated that if the Browns play to their potential, the offense would be unstoppable. […]

Browns preparing to resume action

Romeo Crennel has no plans to fire or demote offensive coordinator Maurice Carthon despite a struggling offensive unit. While he did say he might try to incorporate more of his own input into certain gameday calls, Romeo believes that it is going to have to be a team effort, coaches and players included, to […]
