This is the only thing the Browns have won lately:
Lousy teams, painful losses, a hijacked team. Sheesh. The only thing missing from the Browns’ misery is Kathy Bates’ crushing their ankles with a sledgehammer.
We all know that the front office is a mess, but I’m still encouraged that Lerner decided to keep Phil Savage.
truer words have never been spoken. he did leave off the fact we go from art moe-del to randy “clueless” stilllearnin learner! what kind of upgrade is that? i thought it was worth losing the browns for a couple of years to get rid moe-dell but in retropsect am convinced there was no upgrade in ownership. just about have given up hope on the browns and the indians with it’s skin flint owner. what did the city do to deserve this? weren’t we punished enough in the late 70s when we had to suffer through dennis kookkooinich?
I don’t think that we needed an ESPN misery index to let us know how miserable we are as Browns fans. I’m pretty sure we knew that already. They didn’t even mentioned the worst thing…our most hated rivals (not counting the ass that stole the team) have won 4 Super Bowls in the span of 6 years. Man it was terrible growing up during the 70’s, epecially when most of your family are Squeeler fans…but I digress…
As much as I cursed Modell since 1995, I have to admit that he seemed to care(to the point of financial ruin) where I am not sure Lerner really gives a crap. And if he does, the fact that he is an absentee owner, living in NYC, he does not have his fingers on the pulse of this region and our misery.
