The Tribe’s explosion last night served notice to the other teams in the wild card hunt…if you want the wild card, you’re gonna have to take if from them. This is one hell of a stretch run by the Indians.
I’m gonna go out on a limb here, but if the Tribe wins the three game series against Oakland which starts tonight, I think they’ll be the wild card team.
They’ve definitely got a shot at it if they can take these next two. The remaining two series against the ChiSox are huge as well, especially since they play KC and Tampa in between those two three-game match-ups. Let’s hope they can come back and win two of three from the A’s, fatten up against the Royals and Rays, and then take care of business against Chicago. If everything goes well, that last series of the season could have the AL Central crown riding on it. How sweet would that be?
