Troy Smith, the Ohio State quarterback, did almost everything that was asked of him last Saturday against #2 ranked Michigan. Smith set numerous records for passing and wins in this classic match up. The Buckeyes won and will be going to the BCS Championship game in January.
I can finally say to everyone that Brady Quinn should be a distant runner up for the Hesiman Trophy. Quinn has not put up the “quality numbers” and Notre Dame Coach Charlie Weiss loves to run up the score on lesser opponents.
The Ohio State Buckeyes should win the National Championship, but Troy Smith better win the Heisman Trophy.

Unfortunately, everyone has a grudge against any and everything from and in Ohio, including the Buckeyes. Despite leading the Buckeyes to perfect record this year, and constantly inproving his game and taking it to a higher level, and proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the BEST college football player period, they’re still knocking him. He still has to show up and play excellent in the BCS championship. That way there will be not doubts, ifs, ands, or buts. Who can contest with a guy that played excellent from start to finish? He has to show out in the championship game.
