This guy can never admit he’s wrong. He picked Michigan to win, but now he’s saying on ESPN’s Cold Pizza that Ohio State won only because Tressel outcoached Lloyd Carr. He claims that Michigan is more talented. Then, in a statement that shows he knows nothing about football, he said that Ohio State did something in the game that he had not seen all year - that they went into 4 and 5 wide receiver sets and played a run-and-shoot type offense. This is an amazing statement. Ohio State has been using this offense and these formations ALL SEASON! This was not a surprise. Michigan just wasn’t good enough on defense to stop it.
Why does ESPN hire clowns like Skip Bayless and Lee Corso? As for Corso, I was thrilled to see him pick Michigan before the game. That practically ensured an Ohio State victory. This moron couldn’t pick a winner if his life depended on it.

I hate Clueless and refuse to listen to him at all. After his comment in 2002 that the refs gave that game to OSU in the first overtime. I hate to tell him, but if he goes back to the tape, the Miami deffender held the receiver for the entire pass route. But I guess mugging is OK in college football as shown by the no interference call on the interception saturday. It was obvious that the refs were warned to keep that game close. Not just close but high scoring as ther were only a couple holding calls that I remember. When you have so many pass plays in a game, it’s hard to belive there aren’t more than that. OSU handed UM 10 of their point off turnovers and showed that they could overcome many bad calls & no calls by the refs. I would be surprised if Clueless didn’t say the helmet on helmet to Troy Smith was just good agressive football tackling. Keep up your idiotic ramblings Clueless so that ESPN might realize that you simply are CLUELESS and finally get rid of you.

I agree with Scott, That game was a lot closer than it should have been. What Michigan scored 14 points on drives that the Buckeyes stopped them, only to have officials throw flags to continue the drive. And 10 points off of turnovers, that’s not going to happen again. Plus, one of those turnovers was a play that WAS pass interference. I was amazed the announcers didn’t say anything about that. That was the most obvious pass interference in the game and they didn’t call it, but they’ll call the two that help Michigan score twice to keep it close.
As much as I hate our own Big Ten officials, they did the smart thing this time, if USC loses to Notre Dame next week, we could have a rematch of this game. Big money for the Big Ten if that happens.
If that game was fairly officiated, the final score probably would have been something like 45 - 17.
skippy was run out of dallas years ago. he claimed that troy aikman was gay and that it was common knowledge. he had his own local radio show back in the 90s here, and one of the cowboys threatened to kick his ass ON AIR! a big defensive lineman was getting angrier by the second to the point they had to call security to protect skippy. on a tv show that had 2-3 local sportswriters, one of the other guys called him out on air and that was pretty much the end of him here in dallas. he thought the cowboys should of stuck with steve walsh and trade troy aikman back when he started that qb controversy. clueless doesn’t even come close when you talk about bayless. he is know n for just throwing the most idiotic, controversy causing comments for that reason only, making controversy, he is a total joke.
Guys, I’m a Michigan fan & I can’t stand PRICK BAYLESS!!! He does these things purposely & If he can’t give a true, fair & honest opinion about a sporting event or a team, then he should not be involved in sportstalk/journalism PERIOD!! His opinion is not credible & he just wants you to talk about him being a dumbshit otherwise nobody give a rat-ass & forget about him!! On the radio the guy sounds like a coked up Regis Philbin!! We should not even being talking about this douchebag!!

With his rants on Rome about how the “Luckeyes” stole the national title from Miami. He can’t possibly be that stupid. The Buckeyes were the best team in 2002, and are the best team now in 2006. Bring on USC, or Florida, or Rutgers, or whoever. Their next opponent better bring their A+++ game, cause Ohio State is playing to the level of half of the teams in the NFL.
