The #1 ranked Ohio State Buckeyes and Troy Smith used all their weapons to beat the #2 Michigan Wolverines and head into the BCS Championship game. The game was full of big plays on offense as Smith and the Buckeyes had 6 different players see the end zone.
The Buckeyes were far from perfect as they committed three turnovers in this big contest and still managed to beat the overmatched Wolverines. The game was a classic match up with big plays and big hits, to go with the largest crowd in Ohio Stadium history.

What is the point of this Blog? It’s updated with short headlines that we already know about. Where is the insight?
Tom,
I apologize to you as a reader. I”m both mentally and emotionally drained from my trip to Columbus. I wanted the uninformed reader updated. I plan on giving a strong point on a rematch and the game this week.
well, the rankings are out and the whoreverines are still ranked #2… so who will we be playing?
Kessler,
I believe if you read into the rankings and how close they are, if USC wins out or Florida wins out, we will play one of them. The team would pass Michigan. USC beating Notre Dame or Florida beating Arkansas would improve their computer strength of schedule, quality wins and sway more votes their way.
No doubt, we’re looking at USC or Florida if either team wins out. Michigan’s margin is very small.
Tom,
We are chatting and now you disappear???
ND,
if Notre Dame wins out, do they go. We all know how popular they are with the media snd the networks.
oh yes ohio buckeyes are the best
you best believe it!
yeahhh boyeeee!
Even if Notre Dame wins out, I can’t see them going to the championship despite their popularity with the nation. Notre Dame can end up with 1 loss, but that loss was to Michigan so I would think Michigan would still have the edge on them in the end.
