Cleveland Browns tight end Kellen Winslow has told the world that he wants to be the best in the NFL at his position. He even went as far as saying he is “the best” tight end in football this year. The media has turned these comments into a three ring circus.
I believe Winslow is a confident not cocky player. He hasn’t questioned the opponent’s talent; he is just talking proudly about himself. The Browns are losing on a regular basis; this type of passion may put a much needed charge into this offense.

Yes. Are we forgetting who this guy is? Remember the “soilder” rant. I love this dude. This is exactly what this team needs. He has stepped up, and become the leader of the offense, and the face of the team. He’s talkin the talk, and walkin the walk. He’s from the U. They ready, they ready, they ready. Cleveland aint used to this, especially after having people like Jim Brown, Ozzie Newsome, Bernie Kosar, cats like that. This dude is a stud, and people in the league are beginning to take notice. He might even be the bizarro Lebron, and become a young all star in the NFL.
Go Kellen, he’s got the numbers and I garuntee he dosnt take plays off. He’ a winner and he will continue to improve. If we had 52 of him we would be unstopable.
ya, i have no problem with him saying what he has said so far, as long as he keeps at his current level of production and he continues to get better.
his comments haven’t been nearly as ridiculous as many other things i’ve heard players say in the nfl.
