The Browns traded up to the 34th pick in the second round to grab ILB D’Qwell Jackson from Maryland. In return, the New Orleans Saints received our second-round pick and C Jeff Faine.

It will be interesting to see if Romeo puts Jackson at inside or outside. Despite his size at 6′0″, Jackson was rated one of the best inside linebackers in the draft and was the 2005 ACC Defensive Player of the Year. Savage has a done a great job so far shoring up the linebacker position in the first two rounds.
