The real Buckeyes finally stand up
That was a beatdown against Minnesota. I’m a little surprised that the defense gave up 31 points, especially that early in the game (aside from the garbage time TD, most of it was in the first 20 minutes of the game), but I guess you can’t shut everybody down completely. The team that won today is probably what Tressel had in mind when he went with Troy Smith at QB. And Ted Ginn appears to be back, for real, too.
Didn’t look much like Ohio State football, though, did it? Big play here, big play there, huge chunks of offense in rapid succession. Too bad this wasn’t on the field against Texas and Penn State.

Finally, we see the offense wake up. It’s a real shame they couldn’t get it together agaonst Texas and Penn State. Probably had something to do with their defenses.
I was in a Dunn Hardware store parking lot in Mayfield Hts. when I heard the news the BK was cut. That was the end of me being a Browns fan right then and there. I never hated a coack like I hated Belichik. Watching Philcox start in Seatlle was like a comedy horror movie. Modell moving the team was the final chapter in a very sad story for me. I only hope this town sees another succesful football season soon. God knows we deserve it.
Go Ohio State! All those Michigan players talk game but they can’t hang. I wanted to bet my friend from highschool who goes to Michigan that they won’t win. Then he told me we could go to Pokerblue and play their Freeroll Texas Hold’em poker Tournament for Ohio State and Michigan students. As football fans we battle our rivals at the poker table. Winners get 2 free tickets to that rivalry, $100 for tailgating, and qualify for the next round where National Championship Rose Bowl tickets and $2000 travel package are the grand prize. I’m all over this. Here is a great site for tournament info.
